The Great Forgotten – NYC Fringe Festival
Elizabeth and Celia, two graduates from Bellevue Hospital nursing school in NYC, are among the first batch of American nurses to arrive at Evac 5, in Paris, during WWI. When they return from the realities of war, the roaring ’20s are in full swing. Dottie is a fellow nurse in the trenches, always ready to bring up morale with her wise cracks and energy. Dottie dies an untimely death in the war, may she rest in peace.
